अगर पुलिस वाले को कभी आपातकालीन स्थिति में किसी वाहन को रोकना हो या कभी मुसीबत में किसी अन्य पुलिस वाले को संदेश देना हो कभी भी जब पुलिस वाला मुसीबत में हो तो इस सीटी का प्रयोग करता है |
दूसरी तरह देखे तो अगर कही जवान घायल हो जाए ओर अकेला हो, तो वो सीटी बजाकर आसपास के लोगों या बचाव दल को अपनी स्थिति का एहसास भी दिला सकता है| सीटी की आवाज को अपेक्षा अधिक दूर तक सुना जा सकता है|

Friends, you must have seen this at some point of time that there is a rope in the uniform of a policeman which goes in his pocket, in fact it is not a common rope, it is a type of whistle which is attached to his uniform and hidden in his pocket.
In a police uniform, the rope on the shoulder is called a whistle cord or Landyard. It is an integral part of the uniform of army, paramilitary force, police and other security personnel.
If the policeman ever has to stop a vehicle in an emergency situation or sometimes has to give a message to another policeman in trouble, whenever the policeman is in trouble, then this whistle is used.
On the other hand, if a soldier is injured and alone, he can also make the people around or the rescue team aware of his situation by whistling. The whistling sound can be heard for a longer distance than expected.
