Cover Letter Builder from Your Resume

Draft a one-page cover letter from the resume you've already written and the job you're applying for, edit it like a document, and export a PDF that matches your resume's design.

How it works

  1. Pick a resume
The letter is written from its content.
  2. Add the job
Paste the job description, and optionally the company name, hiring manager and your own instruction.
  3. Choose a tone
    Professional, confident, concise or friendly.
  4. Generate and edit
The letter streams in, 250–350 words in three or four paragraphs. Edit the subject and body directly.
  5. Check the warnings
If the letter makes a claim that isn't supported by your resume or the job description, it's listed so you can fix it.
  6. Export
Download a PDF styled like your resume.

Privacy

Your name and contact details aren't sent to the AI. The letter uses a placeholder that's filled in with your name on the server afterwards. Letters aren't saved on the QuickHunt server: the draft stays in your browser tab until you close it, so export or copy it when you're done.

Limitations

A generated letter is a first draft. It knows only what's in your resume and the posting, so the most persuasive part (why this company, specifically) usually needs your own words. There's no saved list of past letters. The cover letter guide covers what to add.

Build, check and tailor your resume in one place, then practise the interview.
